Commercial Margarita Machines

If you have been looking at margarita machine rentals for any length of time, you have probably come across those plastic dual bowl machines. Every company seems to be pushing them but why?

At Margarita Monkey, we do not use plastic machines and for good reason. They do not work well. These are slush machines, not frozen drink machines. Do you want a slushy or a thick frozen drink? The reason that most companies use this machine is that they are cheap. They cost half as much as the machines that we use.

Here are just a few of the reasons to insist on a bar quality stainless steel machine.

  1. They freeze faster.
Our machines can freeze the mix in as little as 15 minutes with average freeze times of 15 to 30 minutes, even outside in the Texas heat.
Plastic machines take 90 minutes to 2 hours for the initial freeze and they can not be used outdoors.
  2. They freeze thicker.
Our machines make a true frozen drink, not a slushy. You will get a thick frozen margarita, bellini, hurricane, etc just like you would expect to get from your favorite bar. Plastic bowl machines give you a watery product.
  3. They auto fill.
Our machines add mix to the tank little by little from a chilled reservoir. Those plastic machines must be filled manually and when you fill it, they must have time to refreeze.
  4. They look better.
Plastic scratches and yellow over time. Unless that plastic machine is brand new, unlikely, it will probably show its age. Our machines have attractive, polishable stainless steel cabinets and look great not cheap.

As you can see there are a number of reasons to choose a bar machine, I am just getting started. So, insist on a commercial machine for your next party, not a plastic toy.
